A friend has offered me the opportunity to measure up an original Mk1 wiper blade, so this should help me make a similar item. :):) I'm very grateful.

Hi James. No , I have not yet been able to measure an original. At this stage I am basing my trials on the Speed blade and guesstimating dimensions, the wire size being 3/32" diam. Cheers, Peter

Hi James, I recall you saying you might make copies and that you would use Aluminium for fittings. I have been giving some thought to making myself, but using white nylon , machining from solid. Good to see progress on your build too. Best wishes, Peter.

I was given these by a good friend and respected GT40 man but unsure of their origin. I have asked others but no conclusion. I have searched photos but not see them. Some GT40s had tanks at the top corners near or inside the body mounting bracket. Anybody know ? Thanks, Peter
