6-point harness and RF seat modifications

Good day, gentlemen. I have recently contacted an upholstery shop and plan to bring them my seats in a couple weeks so that they can be modified to accomodate the two groin-area belts from a six-point harness. Has anyone done this? Care to share any photographs? Otherwise I'll take some pictures of a Recaro seat and provide that to the upholsery shop.

On edit, it would also be helpful if anyone who has installed a six-point harness could describe the floor belt anchor locations.

Good question Mark. I too am thinking of the same, and look forward to any pearls of wisdom.

I stopped by a local racer's supply store today, and had a chat with the owner about a number of things, including how best to modify the seat. Basically it just needs a slit parallel to the front edge of the seat big enough to accomodate the two anti-submarine belts. As for the fore-aft placement of the slit, simply project a line from your shoulders to your groin while seated, and extend that line to the seat...that's where the slit goes. I think this will be a simple job for the upholsturer.
