As per the link above Henry & Tom Mann recently accepted the 'Spirit of Ford Award' from Edsel B. Ford ll for working with FoMCo, with great success, for 60 years.
The team started by their father gave FoMoCo the first ever Mustang victory. Followed by Touring Car Championships, running Cobra Daytonas, GT40s (with many AMR improvements), Falcons, Cortinas, Escorts etc. & other side projects like building film cars.
In recent years as well as historic race car preparation & race support, AMR have built new GT40s, and new versions of the Datapost Fiesta touring car and mighty Boss 302 Mustang. Cars that have been very successful, not forgetting the Fairlane Thunderbolt too, raced to victory at Goodwood by Tom Kristensen & Henry Mann himself.
I've missed loads of other highlights too so there's no doubt this recognition from FoMoCo is well deserved.
