Back up lights

Anyone know these backup lights? I'm attempting to replicate a road car.

I've wondered the same thing. Of all the pictures I have of the Original road cars, none have backup lights with the exception of this car. I think they were added later, but don't have a source for them.

I will ask the restorer, I am going to use a generic classic one from Moss motors, jag E type would be appropriate as well

Look like Mini not British Leyland ….seen similar fitted over in U.K. - one reverse and one Fog which is a U.K. requirement

Oh and the light was fitted inside the rear clip to pass light through one of the 4 air holes in his case or through the mesh in yours.
 
They look too small to be a driving light to me ? In the UK a reversing lamp should really only have a 21watt bulb anyway.
The ones pictured look very much like Cortina 1600E reversing lamps, which I think were made by Wipac. Google 1600E reversing lamps.
