Blyton Park Track Day Photos

Just a few pictures of the GT40 contingent at the Blyton Park track day. Many thanks to Des Finnan for organising this outing, I am sure everyone had a great day. The weather was absolutely brilliant, the hottest day ever recorded in October I believe, more of the same please Des! Sadly Des's own car was sidelined by a recalcitrant MSD ignition box, despite many helpers best efforts, though he did get some track time in other cars thanks to our generous club spirit.

yes it was a shame des didnt get his car out on track, very big thanks to him for organising this one, my first meet with the GT40 club as such!

looking forward to next season already.

got to say that was one of the best trackdays i have been involved with so far, my 3 favourite cars all on track together, GT40, Ultima and of course the best looking sports car ever the T70 :heart:

Got to agree that it was a superb day - many thanks to Desmond for organising!

By the end of the day Dawn and I had drunk 3 litres of fluid each! - REALLY MUST sort of the heat loading in the cabin.................

Took some tuition from 'the tame racing driver' who got me to try things I would not have done otherwise which really added to the day!

Even managed an excellent meal at Richmond in North Yorkshire on the way back up home. Eating outside on the terrace in shirt sleeves at 8:30 at night in OCTOBER was a surreal (but very welcome!) experience!!!
