Carbon Ceramic brake upgrades

Gearbox / Brake Systems
HCF / ST announced yesterday our partnership with the International GT racing series as exclusive carbon ceramic brake supplier for series competitors.
In preparation for this step, we've been working with PFC on a number of development paths, including compound development:

These rotors are unique - not the chopped fiber, molded, one-time use rotors you find on most OE vehicles. PCCB's fall into this category.
These rotors are a continuous fiber material that is machined for fitments, can be refurbished for multiple uses and performs better in all respects.

You'll find them as OE fitment on some vehicles - Koenigsegg has used them exclusively for the past 10 years on all models. Aston chose them for the Valkyrie hypercar, Czinger for the 21C and McLaren put them on nearly all of the Senna's produced.

HCF Brake Systems became Surface Transforms' distributor for the Americas earlier this year. Built on the success with hypercars, we believe there's an opportunity to supply the custom car market with these class-leading rotors. For those of you who drive your cars on track, the unsprung weight, durability and braking distance advantages are stark.

If interest exists, there are two paths:

1. Utilize an off-the-shelf fitment and modify your system to accommodate
2. Have us develop a fitment that replaces the existing rotors in your system (there is a $50k design fee on this path, which produces 2 car sets worth of rotors in the process). We can also explore simply producing front axle sets, should that be of more interest.

If there's interest in either path, will you please either post your interest here or reach out to Anthony ([email protected]). If the second path, it would be helpful to know what your existing rotors are.

Best,
John
