Odd looking car with the rear axle centerline being off so far... Wheels no where near centered in the arches.. I did note that it was fitted with a ZF but I don't recall other GT40NA cars with this trait...

Appears to have the Corvette suspension in back. High offset wheels, and the rearward displacement indicate some (lots of?) modifications were made to the rear suspension (and perhaps even the front). Nice updates, but perhaps not executed as well as intended.

I believe you're right on the Corvette rear suspension.. Good idea, poor execution..
