Gearbox UN1-013

Hello every one!

I’m currently creating a very accurate 3D CAD model of a Renault UN1-013 gearbox for a Ford GT40 project, so I need one final critical dimension.

Could you please measure the overall width of the gearbox at the differential outputs, using the same reference faces shown in your photos?

To be absolutely clear, I’m not looking for the distance between the CV flanges or the output shafts.

What I need is the distance from the machined outer face of the left gearbox casing to the machined outer face of the right gearbox casing, exactly where you placed the ruler against the casing in your photos (the face around the oil seal/output shaft opening).

In other words, the measurement should be taken:

Left gearbox casing outer face → Right gearbox casing outer face

using the two flat machined faces that surround each output shaft.

This dimension is essential because it defines the exact gearbox width at the driveshaft axis, allowing me to position the differential outputs correctly in the CAD model.

A measurement to the nearest millimetre (or even 0.5 mm if possible) would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for your help!

Best regards,

Max
