I think it was built in 2009 it's been raced for years in a couple different livery's.

I can say after owning and driving a gelscoe they are worth the extra money

not sure when it was built, I think it was 2009. Anyway that would not really prevent you from getting it on the street. Lot's of ways to get this accomplished.

The add also contains the following information:

- The vehicle is a Ford GT 40 built according to HTP by the English company Gelscoe Engineering LTD
- Additional set of wheels
- Road registered (I guess German registration)
- HTP Pass
- Perfect vehicle for 6H Spa /24 H Le Mans Classic

If the road registration is legit this would be a big bonus point. On the other hand, if it was built in 2009 and raced for some time the question of the overall condition would come up:
- Crashes?
- Mono still stiff
- Condition of all supension parts, joints, wheel bearings, etc.
- Condition of gear box, engine, clutch,

When visiting LeMans Classic in 2016 they had spare gear box piled up (almost)......
