Yes there was continuous rain through the night then gradually reducing and at midday it stopped and eventually we had sunshine.

Not a chance.
Jim Pearson rang me on Saturday night to see if I would like to go and
I joined up with Jim and a couple of other guys early morning and then went for breakfast in GRRC chalet while the rain reduced. My first visit to Goodwood as I'm normally working, but with the rescheduled F1 season due to Soccer I had the chance to go thanks to Jim.
Back to France tomorrow en route to Magny Curse.
No time to do some of the nice things all you guys get up to - such as driving 40s.......
ps The guy in the beige coloured overalls is Parnelli Jones
