If you have tried to book a hotel room near Goodwood for 1st and 2nd of September, you're probably out of luck!
I have a reservation for a double/twin room at the Premier Travelinn at nearby Arundel for both the Friday and Saturday nights, that I won't be using. So if anyone is interested and wants to takeover the booking (for free),please let me know. The room is currently held on my Amex card and will need paying for on arrival at the hotel - a total of £103.90 for the two nights.
Obviously,I will need a clear agreement, with whoever takes over the reservation, that they fully accept liability for paying for/or cancelling the room.
