I'm running a full roller 351W, with shaft rockers, no problems.

I'm running Jesel shaft rockers in my 418W (AFR heads) with these thick cast GW valve covers and have no clearance issues. It's tight in some spots but nothing touches. Bias towards a thick valve cover gasket.

I couldn't remember at first and had to do a little searching. I was collecting parts back then....I believe they were purchased from Chris Melia.

I milled a lot of material out of my Chris Melia sourced GW covers in order for them to clear the 1.6 Scorpion roller rocker + stud girdle combo on my AFR heads. The covers as cast are very thick and very heavy and could definately use some lightening up. Just be patient and careful milling.

Hey Grant, yes they are thick and heavy and in most cases will need some prep or clearance work to be performed. I was going to have to clearance around the roller rocker tip area also, but about that time I made the switch to the Jesel rockers and there were no clearance issues with running this system with the AFR heads.
