Hey guys-
Been lurking around the site for a few days now as I'm starting to seriously contemplate a GT40 build so I decided to do the right thing and introduce myself.
First off I want to say that this is a great forum. I've spent a lot of time on various forums (for different types of cars, motorcycles, firearms, instrument building, experimental aircraft, etc., etc.) and I have to say that the talent on this board is right up there with the best of them.
Professionally I am a builder and real estate developer but in my real life (ie not work) I am passionate about all the things I mentioned above. I have always lusted after the GT40 ever since I was a kid and am now starting to seriously consider building one. I have enjoyed reading a lot of the threads here about peoples builds and am now doing my "back of the envelope" build (on an Excel spreadsheet).
Am enjoying every minute of this forum so far and look forward to picking the brains of the talented members here.
