While most of us are moving forward with our builds, some prefer to cover panels, door panels and dashboards with fabric, leather or vinyl. Simply to be aware of new things available, there is a sprayed-on coating that is a soft-touch material such as those finding thier way into new production cars. If anyone has used this some feedback would be appreciated.
Sprayed with conventional equipment it is a two part material that will feel like leather, velvet or rubber. The Alsa Corp. makes this stuff and are currently working to produce a sprayed soft touch coating that will produce a "leather" grain. It looks interesting and simple. I like simple!
I may even give it a try on my RCR SL-C.
