Hellum, from what I remember about the white Mark IV is that it is Chevy powered, built on a tube frame with bolt on wheels. From the pictures showing, the dash is wrong and in my opinion so is the nose. Fia papers, I seriously doubt it. Could explain why it hasn't moved.

Hi Gregg

As it is written: Ford big block, monocoque frame, that added to the chriscraft gearbox this is not a bag of bones you jugest. Under the reserve that what is written there is true!!!

I suspect that this might be the car that was for sale some +10 years ago a MKIV Replica on sale by Nostalgia (Rodd Leach,UK), it was said to be based on a "Kriscraft" monocoque. ????

Is this the same one?

Roel, As you have stated, "Under the reserve that what is written there is true" acknowledges that you have not seen the car. From what I know, Rodd Leaches' car is accounted for and that is not it. The pictures although not great, clearly depict bolt on wheels. As far as advertising goes, there can sometimes be very little truth in advertising. I have no idea of what "Kriscraft" is. Chris Craft here in the states is a boat manufacturer. I believe you and/or the seller meant "Karcraft". Karcraft was involved with the Mark IV project as far as transaxles go. The pictures I looked at do not specifically show the transaxle, however the car doesn't appear to have a T44 transaxle. If it is still available, it only means that it is overpriced for today's market.

Gragg

Yes I agree with you: I think that they talk of a "KarKraft" gearbox.
But who would go to that and build a "monocoque" chassis if the rest is not at it's level!
I can arrange to pass by mecaimports in the next 2 month. What is/are your interests for more details?
