Kva track

I'm working on my front suspension and like to know if someone with a kva type c front
can put some dimensions of the tracking and the clearence between the wheel and the chassis (at the rear the closest point) and if someone know's what the turning circle is

Hello Frank outside measure on the tires is 1,70 m inside is 1,25 m .With 215/55-R15 tires I have about 10 cm between the tire and chassis. So the turning circle is wide ,I don't know how much but it doesn't give me problems with normal driving. If it was me I would make some modificatications on the frame to have more space between tire and chassis and a smaller turning circle.greetings Emiel

Not totally accurate as it ignores slippage but.......
Draw a long line (from rear wheel centre) at 90 deg to the rear wheel. Turn the front wheel to max possible angle. Draw a long line (from front wheel centre) at 90deg to wheel. where the lines cross gives the point about which the car will rotate. The distance from this point to the wheel will be the turning radius.
If the car can't be removed outside to do this then measure the max. angle of turn and draw a diagram to scale (base of triangle is distance centre to centre of F and R wheels) to get the turn radius. In practice the real radius will be a little less as the tyres will slip slightly even at low speeds.
Cheers
Mike

Thank you Emiel
I think i've got the same but was wondering if it was enough
I didn't know you had a kva

Thanks Mike i will make a scetchdrawing
