Le Mans classic via Portsmouth - Caen

I am now planning on making it to the Le Mans classic with my 40, going via Portsmouth - Caen. Out on Friday morning, and back early Sunday afternoon.
I would really like to find out if any other 40s or owners without their 40s are doing this same route. It would be nice to know if we are likely to form a small convoy, even if it is only 2 of us!!

I believe there are six cars going down to the Classic Le-mans mine included from Brian Magee's area.
Roy Snook & Brian are the instigator of this trip so I suggest you contact them.
Roy and myself are leaving on friday the 13th from Poole to St Malo and meeting Brian on Saturday morning in St Malo for the blast down to Le-Mans, returning on the 23rd.
Should be a fun 10 days

The St Malo route is a cracking drive down to Le Mans- nice scenery- good roads.
I got a good deal with ferrrysavers.com of £148.00 return, with Condor Ferries, avoid Brittany Ferries, they seem to be the dearest.

I am going Portsmouth - Caen but on the Thursday 19th early morning boat, 8am . I am returning Tuesday 24th at 9am. I am currently 'toute seul' (as the French say), i.e. on my lonesome.
