Motorized door escape

I have the motorized doors in place. Now that my car has returned with the interior in place, I’ve become more concerned about the inability to get out of the car, if I should either lose power, or have a fire. Today I successfully created a pull mechanism that releases the actuator from the body. My first attempt included using a pin that was the same diameter as the holes on the bracket that is mounted on the door jam. When this pin was pulled, it had too much tension and would not release. So, I went to a smaller diameter pin. Even though it is much smaller than the diameter of the holes, when the door is open or closed, there is enough tension that it does not come out. With the door closed, I place some hand pressure on the back of the door, slightly, lifting it, which gets enough of the tension off of this pin. Then it pulls through and releases. I then covered the wire, with shrink wrap, and made a red handle to suggest my ejection route.
