Ive been lurking this forum for a few years to find information on Audi transaxle. This seems to be the go to forum for Audi transmission info even beyond the Audi forums, so I'm hoping someone can help me out.
Im working on an engine swapped Porsche 944 and need a transaxle that can hold more power than my stock 016k 5 speed, I'm not looking to drift and dump the clutch constantly but I would like it to be an option for when I get rowdy with the car. The car will mostly be track use so I want a stronger transmission, from what I've gathered from this forum the 01E/X/A is what I want but being in the US these transmission options are out of my price range. I have recently found a DHW 5spd from a B5 A4 1.8t it meets all of the requirements I have from the information I can find but I'm unable to find a rebuild kit for this transmission and was hoping someone knows what the compatible kits are or if there are other transmission codes for this transmission before I go buy it.
