New Zealand GT40, your thoughts.

As Robert suggests above, there are three people in NZ who are making or have made GT40's. They are: Dave Brown, Frank Wigg and Phil Ware. All have been referred to a number of times on this forum so a search should pull up names and contact details plus some pictures. Frank and Dave do bespoke, mainly turnkey cars while Phil does kits but will do a turnkey. Frank built something like 5-6 cars to a very high standard a few years back but, to my knowledge, has not built anymore recently. Dave has one completed car that is now in Australia and is currently working on three more. These monocoque cars are built as near to original as possible, ultilising original drawings and many other original bits. Phil's product is a spaceframe kit based on a KVA (he has produced about 35 cars to date) and can be checked out at www.GT40.co.nz
