newbie

currently considering selling my ERA FIA to build a GT40. The cobra is great and a blast to drive but I want to build another car before I get too old.

I really like the ERA GT and I'm looking at the RCR. My experience with the ERA boys was great in all respects so I'm leaning toward them.

The GT40 looks as though it will be 10x's more difficult and like I did with the Cobra I hope to gather a lot of helpful tips and guidance from the GT site as I did in the Cobra site.

Dennis,
Wecome to "the" Forum
this is a great place with tons of helpful guys...we have a lot of experienced RCR builders, and other brands too, on here and they are more than willing to help.

The build is different but not mind bendingly difficult...anything mid engined adds another level of complexity but treading the path others have taken certainly makes for an easier time of the build...

Drop on by the RCR forum and have a look at Pantera 1889,Chuck and Ryans , Egilitom, Dean Lampes builds...these guys did very detailed pictures and text builds...in fact Chucks builds is now used as part of our build manual...he made changes in transxle too and that is also useful information to have for the future...

Welcome and enjoy...
