Orange County, CA RCR SLC

First off, hello everyone. I might be the least mechanical guy on this site so I'll apologize if I'm not the one to answer questions. I am an avid "car guy" and drive a 2008 Z06 almost daily :)

My post is about an RCR SLC. I would very much like to see one, in any stage of development/build. I live in Irvine, CA. If anyone know of one in Southern California, please let me know. I'm getting the feeling that the skill set needed to build one is outside my scope, but I am still infatuated with the car.

Thank you in advance.

That was funny. Yes, I can operate a drill but a jig saw, probably not. I appreciate the referral to VRaptor but if I don't have $100K. On the flip side, that is a great price if you price out the labor. That car is probably close to $80K as pictured UN BUILT. Less than $20K to build is, to me, pretty reasonable (very reasonable) I don't have an extra $100K now that we can't refinance my homes and buy what I want :)

Ryeno, think how crazy a SLC would be at C&C?? I emailed Fran and told him its one of the best shows in the country because of where we are.
I've never "shown" my car because its bone stock. My philosophy is if you have something unique etc take the space but a bone stock Z06 is nothing new to that crowd.

I was going to put rims, tires, and a carbon fiber kit on it and then I would have the wheels and tires needed to build a SLC. Its a small start, but I figured it was a great excuse. Then I realized the SLC is just too outside my skill set. I think Fran could easily sell one or two by having one present for a week or two in So Cal. He can even store it in my warehouse which is right around the corner from there.

Have a great weekend. I might spin by the show tomorrow since the weather looks nice.
