I would have neither the patience, tenacity or persistence that would be mandatory in order to take on such a claustrophobic build! 'Faaaaar too frustrating for a short-fused ole goat like my own darned self to even think about attempting!

By the end of the first day, I'd be a stark raving lunatic...if it even took that long.

Fergiddaboudit!... ;-)

My hat's off to the builders!

This illustrates the biggest problem with home-built cars, in that you usually only need one of something that doesn't exist. There are numerous sources for what you need. The problem is there is really no way to have only one or two made economically. Thus the term "home-built car",

This is why it is called a hobby!!!!! Well done!

Note: Now that they know what they want there would be very little design work to do. There are several low-volume custom circuit board shops that could make a circuit board for fairly little cost. I would guess you could have a board made for a few hundred dollars with the next dozen or so costing much less than the first article.
