SBF to Renault box adapter wanted

If you want to use the Renault UN1 bellhousing you will need a 121 tooth flywheel balanced to your engine balance. If you want to use the 157 tooth SBF flywheel you will need a different bellhousing as the 157 tooth flywheel will not fit in a Renault UN1 bellhousing.
If you cannot find an adaptor plate drop me a PM via this forum (envelope at top of page) and I will send you a drawing. You can get one cut from thick ally plate by your local CNC laser cutter.

Andy Sheldon sells a nice piece if you decide to go with the large flywheel/clutch.
He does, much better than the adapter plate and with a better position for the clutch slave cylinder, down the side instead of on the top.
Having said that, I love the quick spin up with my little flywheel in the UN1 bell housing!

The installed height and ground clearance will depend on driveshaft position and sump depth. Obviously the 157 tooth flywheel has a larger diameter and therefore a larger size but the ground clearance may be more of a function of driveshaft and hence gearbox height and the depth of the sump compared to the bottom of the chassis.
On my GTD which has the 121 tooth flywheel I replaced the Renault clutch with the AP one. I had the flywheel drilled and tapped for the AP clutch cover.
