Shifter gates for GT40 SPF MK II ?

Just got my SPF GT40 on the road and i find it hard to shift into gear sometimes. I see some have built there own shift gates so you dont miss shift as much.
Any direction or advise from you guys is much appreciated

Your photos are SPF supplied pieces, not Olthoff. Refer to 2014 link in above post for Olthoff kit. Unfortunately Olthoff's website is still not fully operational, but you can call them for price and availablity.

I have the Olthoff kit on my MKII SPF, initially found the shifting was OK , but certainty not Hurst 4 speed quality. Did not drive the car with the stock SPF shifter brackets so cannot compare the two. So in an attempt to improve the shifting, I eliminated the center console parking brake and related brackets, reorientated the cables around the engine and revised the one upper transaxle cable bracket for a straighter shot at shift box. I was going to do a gated shifter plate but the throws are so short and close, seemed unnecessary. Like the shifting now, very easy and on point. I posted some pictures of all this sometime back, but will post some additional when I get back to where the car is this week end .
