spf purchase

I have been offered a SPF MK11 (titanium with black stripes) for the original price 69,900 and may actually be able to get it somewhat less. It is a new roller. The question is, has the market saturated already? Is this price now what dealers are willing to sell for, or is this a special case? It seems like a fair deal to me but is not the color I would pick and I am rather at my limit on cars with the Daytona Coupe now at home. I actually think my CAV MK1 is much prettier, but I do like the running gear on the SPF's.

Chuck,

I attended the Portland Historics this year. Dynamic (Reno) was in attendance, and had a MkIII 427 Cobra, and a Daytona Coupe on display. In addition, Lynn Miner parked his MkIIa GT40 at their location also.

I chated with John M. Miller about the GT40s (MkI for me), and based on the amount of people that were around the booth, I would say no....the market is not saturated around here anyway. John also had a spiral binder with potential customers listed....and he had several pages of people listed in the book.

I would imagine certain areas will become saturated, because these cars do take a special person to gain ownership, not to mention the wallet issue.

I think the price you can buy it for (or maybe less as you have stated) is a great price. I would think the one you refer to is LHD / Center Shift. So if you buy it, or if your direction changes, you should have a good chance on the resale.

Good luck on your possible future purchase. Keep us posted on what happens.
