Have you tried contacting Shelby et al? they might know where he is, what he's doing. Also, Lee Holman in Charlotte, NC, at Holman Automotive.

 

I would try the Shelby American Automobile Club, www.saac.com Try to get in touch with Rick Kopak ( I think that's the correct spelling). He should know. I met Steel at Lime Rock race track at SAAC's 25 convention. He signed my book "Cobra Daytona Coupes". What a real gentleman and what a treat to finally meet him. Good luck!
