Wiscombe Regs + Ray Bellm's 1018

Hi all -

Just a quick heads-up to say that the club website has been updated to include links to the Wiscombe Hillclimb regs/entry forms that are available as a download as of today.

Also - A new photo gallery has been added to the 2008 archive which details Ray Bellm's Mk1 GT40 ('1018') when Andrew Fordyce and I visited Lanzante Racing / Brands Hatch. The corresponding article is also available to download/view from the 2006 magazine archive.

Hi Troy -

I don't believe Ray is registered, or at least not under his own name.

My wife shared the same riding instructor as his daughter and an introduction was made after she commented on him having a GT40 after seing me working on a GTD.

He was very welcoming at Brands hatch where we discussed the various cars he's competed in and on seing the M8F in the next pit garage, I asked him if he'd competed in one. He said he had, but these days was a little more 'selective' in what he drove, choosing rides that offered a more sensible level of crash protection in the event of an incident..
