The interesting thing here is the legality of the transaction. The police don't want to know as there has simply been an apparent "breach of (implied) contract" here, which makes it a civil case rather than an "intent to permanently deprive (theft)" of his car. Seems to me that the Ferarri owner's best course is to seek an immediate injunction against the dealer to prevent him trading until he has made good. If you look at the dealers cars for sale, there's everything from a Zonda to a Murcielago listed, but the only car marked "sold" is an old 308 for £39K!

Definitely will stay well clear of these S.O.R. deals in future though....

I agree Keith, seems so wrong the company can do this.

I wonder if there is some other underlying story here, but regadless, it seems wrong.
