If I had a daughter and she was 22 years old and she had a relationship with a man of 49 years old, her boss, then I would be very unhappy about it. However, I wouldn't kill him. Is that a reason for gun ownership? Hopefully not.

Get a grip. It was a figure of speech. If you were a father of a 22 year old you would be more than unhappy, sorry I forgot you're a liberal.

It’s not the thread , it’s the people that live in this thread and contribute absolutely nothing to the GT40 community. I’ve received several PMs lamenting the same sentiments so it’s not just me having a problem. A GT40 focused community forum would be interesting...

The Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC) has had a motto since I joined it when I was a kid: Ownership is not required, just enthusiam. I've always been a GT40 enthusiast. I almost purchased a red SPF GT40 roller in 2007, just before buying my Kirkham. I still enjoy reading about them. In fact, I've read through some of your threads over the years and I also know your GT40 is listed in the For Sale section too.

What people may "lament" is another viewpoint that's not shared by themselves, as Jeff has already mentioned above. Whether its new polling or older polling roughly 60-67% of the country thinks our illegitmate president is doing a piss poor job. And more than 50% (I think 52%) of those polled, simply despise the guy, period. So, it's not just me.

As I posted previously, even his own advisors around him don't think the man is too smart, putting it as mildly as I can. My guess is that a few of his advisors stick around the WH essentially trying to save our country from complete and utter chaos.

Lewinsky was 22-24 during the affair:

Lewinsky stated that between November 1995 and March 1997, she had nine sexual encounters in the Oval Office with then-President Bill Clinton.

Pleasant post. Your point about liberals is what?

Or, how about this. Conservatives so wish to control and dominate women that they seek to control their sexual behavior into their 20s? That's open minded.

She was an adult. She can do what she pleases. Clinton was a cad for doing it, but your moral outrage over it vis a vis what TRUMP HAS ADMITTED TO DOING is pretty said.

I should drop it? Why, because you don’t want to hear opposing views on forum decorum. The irony!

A thread full of name calling on a forum that does not allow name calling. More irony...

Opposing political views? I'm fine with that. Fire away. I read Veek's posts, and Keiths' and Pete's when he posted here. Hell I even read Larry's and Al's and Bob's.

A "view point" that people should be censored because you don't like their viewpoint? Pretty twisted logic there eh friend?

I didn't know it was a figure of speech. You are a gun rights advocate. But OK.

If I had a 22-year old daughter, then I know she would be extremely bright and "tough as nails" (figure of speech), so I would respect her choice of significant other. I would be unhappy with her choice, but I have no idea about being more than unhappy.

Would I be distraught, depressed and the relationship keep me up at night? No, not me. I'm a good sleeper. Given that most 49-year olds are completely flabby and out of shape, if I had a daughter, then I doubt that would be her choice anyway.

Trump said a bad thing.... Slick willie did bad things.....just ask the other women .... Carry on.... No punching below the belt

This is old territory, once again.

First, our illegitimate president is a bigot, racist and a misogynist, who's been accused by about 20 women of sexual harassment or misconduct.

Second, he's also hired and not fired (though one was fired recently once the pic came out) at least two wife beaters.

Third, he's allowed access to classified material to over 100 people in the WH w/o proper security clearance.

Fourth, he's told more lies than any other president by ALOT!

Fifth, our illegitmate president has had 4 people connected (Gates, Flynn, Manafort and Papadopolous) with his campaign and White House that have either plead guilty to a Federal crime or in Manafort's case will be tried for Federal crimes.

Sixth, he wants a military parade like any budding dictator.

Seventh, he's had at least two affairs, one with a $130,000 payoff to a porn star, in his 3rd marriage for heaven's sake.

Eighth, he may have colluded/conspired with the Russian government to win the election. 13 Russians have been indicted along with 3 companies. Stay tuned, Mueller isn't finished.

Ninth, he may have obstructed justice, by firing 3 people who are investigating him, including Comey, Yates and Bharara plus who knows what else, but stay tuned, Mueller isn't finished.

Personally, I'd take Bill Clinton or Hillary Clinton over our illegitimate president.

Rod,

why are you so bitter?? Ok, now go back to your corner.

Oops, forgot one.

Tenth, Russia has attacked our country and our illegitimate president has not and will not respond in kind, say like imposing the sanctions that Congress almost unanimously passed months and months ago.

Walt, you made a point, then I made a counterpoint. That's how it works.

When our illegtimate president is impeached and convicted or he resigns first, then I'll be celebratory. Because then we'll all know, he has committed "high crimes and misdemeanors." :pepper:

My wager is half the people in this thread wasting the last remaining years of their bitter old lives will be dead before Trump leaves office. Sad and pathetic.

Keith, that video you posted was one of the most hilarious stand-up routines I have ever heard. If only Larry would watch it, maybe his blood pressure might go down. There IS relief in “comic relief”.
Thank you!!! I LMAO!!!!!

Cheers to you, Keith!!!

I’d wager that most of us will outlive Trump, Mike. He’s eating himself into an early grave.

Sad...so very sad...really (sound familiar?)

Our illegitimate president has heart disease, is clinically obese (another lie by Donnie Sr.), eats McDonald’s, KFC, double helpings of ice cream and takes cheeseburgers to bed with him. And doesn’t believe in exercise.

I’ll bet on my “bitter old life.” Thank you very much. rockonsmile

I'd rather MAGA, eat well, and die young than live forever as the bitter old tumbleweeds you guys are. It's not sad... it's stupid. Get off my lawn!

Hell yeah I said it.

Kudos to you, Jeff, for "...'fessing up"!

I think Mike has us all wrong...I know that I do not feel bitterness over the misguided intentions and actions of our current POTUS.

Disappointment? Yes.

Disgust? Most certainly!

Distrust? That ought to be obvious...

Bitterness? Not at all, at least not at Trump. If I harbor any bitterness at all, it would be toward the members of the Electoral College for not honoring their duties to make certain that the party they "elect" to the position of POTUS is qualified.

While I have certainly never thought Trump was going to be good for the country, I will acknowledge that he is making progress toward improvement. If he wants my vote in the next election, though, he's going to have to take on the NRA. I don't think he has the courage to do that, but it's obvious to me that we need someone in that office who does.

Words cannot express my disappointment with the evasive, self-serving rhetoric I heard yesterday from the "leader" of the NRA. He deserves to go down with Trump, who promised to make America GREAT again and has only managed to make America the laughing stock of the world.

Go Mueller! Go Mueller! Go Mueller! Drain the "Republican Swamp", please, the vermin are at your mercy!

The next time(later today I'm sure) you spend 30 mins writing some long winded rant, consider how that time could have been spent actually helping someone in need down at the local shelter or delivering meals to the elderly. There is nothing noble about what you are doing here at all.

I spend every work day, all day, helping students with communication disorders improve their speech/language skills...I'm a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist.

In addition, during the spring, summer and fall months I grow vegetables in a huge garden, much more than I could possibly eat, and donate those extra vegetables to the local churches who help feed those who might not have enough to eat.

I fund 3 $500 college scholarships each year for needy students here in the town where I work.

I think I've got the "helping" thing covered, Mike. Here on our political forum thread all I see you do is complain and try to bring others down. Where is the nobility in that?

What do you do to help others, Mike?

That’s impressive Doug. Think how much more good you could be doing if you weren’t wasting so much time pissing and moaning on the Internet about politics.
