Keith ,
You forgot to mention the Opera in Verona, McLaren and Jordan.
Also you made no mention of Mr. Whippy. Big Rons new mate Eric (B)
and Mr Whippy would not be very easy team mates. So Whippy gets the grand
order of the swiftly aimed boot.

"If you sit by the river long enough ...............

Complete this Japanese saying and win 1/8 of an air mile.

The lifeless corpse of your enemy will float by...

Send it.

PS Excuse the omissions please sir (can I come and sip Krug in your radar truck this year and nibble Wookey Hole with you? ooer missus.)

I really don't know how they police it it but every team can have "film days" and this was obviously one. Force India also ran a "film day" prior to official testing in Jerez. They were also able to engage in a number of 'straight line tests' in order to correlate their wind tunnel data, but along with wind tunnel testing, straight lining is also severely limited this year, so they've got to get it right 'out of the box' so to speak.

It's about time. I've always thought of F1 as having a bloated workforce, everyone seems to be 'Head of this and Senior of that' I just wonder if anyone has been 'really working very hard' as so often they trot out to the media.

Well, this year, they're going to have to earn their pay. It's a good formula for engineers to get their teeth into, not least IT and Electrical Systems Engineering. That old V8 screaming tech is history thank God. Where was the challenge in that?

I believe this new Formula is going to be awesome but I'm not sure the general 'pedal to the metal' public is going to like it much.

It will be very interesting to say the least. Look for a dark horse to shine (maybe).
Last three race point awards could very well determine the outcome.

I think the DP system was brought in to stop the Vettel Effect, but the problem with that is, there will be no meaningful historical comparisons possible. By all means make three premier races double points, perhaps at the very best and demanding tracks: Silverstone Spa and Monza, but just at the last race in the desert sounds a bit like NASAR to me.

Third day in Bahrain, and although a couple of the Renault teams have done a lot of running, Red Bull still in trouble so it seems. Pecking order is still Mercedes teams i.e. Merc, Mclaren Williams and F.I., with Ferrari either being unable to, or unwilling to, chuck a quick one in there.

They are just 1.5 seconds shy of last year's pole at this track with more to come, so here we have heavier cars, less downforce and loads more torque - interesting. However, I reckon at high speed tracks, the 2014 spec will hurt more, as they have to decide their gearing upfront and it can't change.

Interestingly, 'short shifting' seems to deliver a better lap time, at least at this track.

BEAUTIFUL car....really pulling for Massa this year. He was fast in testing....

Kyobashi was also fast in the freakin Caterham....

But this might be a Hammy/Mercedes kind of year.

So long term championship predictions........
My prediction. Alonso, Nicko and Lewis in that order followed by Massa. But I reserve the right to change my mind.
