hi, my name is glen and i'm from sussex, england. i haven't got a gt yet but i am going to look at a body one day next week:thumbsup:. i have a mk2 escort running a 2.0 zetec with gsxr tb's, emerald management, discs all round and fitted with an x-pack.
my other car is a mk2 cortina that i bought as a 4 door auto, it had a rusty n/s/r arch so i cut the car in half, unpicking all the spot welds from the chassis, bought an accident damaged 2 door shell, did the same and....voila!!! 2 door kooltina!!!
she is also running a zetec on throttle bodies.
the next stage with either of my cars is to start space-framing, but my favourite car has always been a mk2 gt40 so i thought, if i'm going to put all this effort into my cars.... why not put the effort into something i've always thought i'd never have and build a gt!!
ideally, i'd love a dead gt chassis witch is already registered that i could re-build, needless to say, i will be asking a lot of questions!!!(remember when you knew nothing?):embarassed:
ps..those intrested in the "locostgt40" thread, watch this space
