My v8 mid engine project

Hi guys,

The engine is an aqj engine, it's one of the 340hp 40v engines from an audi s6. Belt driven, high compression. Saying that, the intention is to bolt A td07 turbo to it for 6-8psi boost......

So I've been working on the controls and internals for a little bit now. I Started by mounting the gear lever/handbrake mechanism...

Then looked at the pedal box and bulkhead (the one i wasnt planning to make but had to because the rorty plans were wrong!

The Firewall - Made from 3mm ali.....

and it bolted together....small steps!

Hi guys, A fair bit more progress- the chassis is finished and has been off to the powdercoaters;






And the bodywork has begun.







I've also decided to smooth the dash and go with a single digidash display:




And remake the bonnet hinges:
