Fran,

The boss and bolt holes on the rear upright look suspiciously like they would take Corvette carrier bearings and caliber spacers. The front upright also has a Corvette look about it. Are those indeed the donor suspension parts the car uses?

What are the engine/transaxle choices with the chassis?

Very cool, Fran and for you too Mike!! At last a car!

Regards,
Lynn

You are correct Lynn.
I designed the 6061 T-6 billet rear upright to take a Corvette bearing pack anad brake assembly.
The front suspension is also Corvette C4 with no mods required.

The only options I am offering on the car are RHD or LHD
Also Chevrolet GEN III or iron block 350
The trans option is Porsche G50 only.

I built this one for Mike as a one off with the Audi transaxle because he had the courage and conviction to order a car without seeing a completed unit.

The bodywork is done for me by Bill Hough (Datonabill) of FFR Daytona Coupe fame and is superb as always.

Thanks Mike and Bill

Any questions please ask away.....

Mike,

Soon, you'll have a replica stable as impressive as Jim G's real one!

Congratulations!

Gentlemen,
thank you for the votes of confidence and glowing praise

Lots of you know how much work goes into these projects and there is always more to do.

I am very proud this project.

I am also very excited about the monocoque version.

Cheers

$$$???
(That means I'm speechless, but also interested to see if you have a ballpark figure on what the body/chassis units will be selling for.)

Beautiful work !

Re: New Replica....T70 Mk3b....$25.000

Craig.
The unit as you see pictured.....
Body/chassis package
complete with all suspension except shocks
Includes fuel tanks
glass and lexan for headlight covers and side windows
Steering system
6061 T6 floorpan
is....$25,000....no wheels....$26,000....with BRMS
extras can be added such as pedals etc etc
BUT
my premise is to keep the package simple and contain all the large parts that enable someone to build a "race" type car and leave the personal detailing to the individual.....hence the agressive price...
The monocoque version will be between $34-36,000 for the same type of package. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
