Is that the stock supplied aluminum rad? It doesn't look like it'd be able to handle much power (like 600-700 range), would it?

Looks like the radiator in my RCR40 and it's already demonstrated itself as being sufficient on at least two other RCR40s that I'm aware of..

Fran said something similar; I guess looks are deceiving - I'm just used to seeing my monster Ron Davis rad I guess :D

One of those is my car. It has proven to be plenty big enough for my car.
My water temp has only been over 180 two times. One when the electric water
pump relay failed and once when the thermostat failed.

Is there a particular reason my post got deleted? It was just a reference to Bill's build thread.

If he wants to post here or not, that's his business and I'm fine with that. I learned a lot from what he shared and it's a loss that he seems to have slipped off the grid.

Someone made the comment of not knowing the provenance of the blue and orange GT40 and I merely posted a link to his thread.

Thanks Dalton for posting all those great photos. I reckon I owe you a beer or three.

Some more photos that I took on the open day...before the crowds got there.

Thanks for sharing. Red just looks so right on the SLC! And gosh, doesn't that special guest look a lot like Fran.

Don't sweat it, that's only one part of the new workshop.

We are busy sorting out the other area next door, we actually have 1 and 1/2 factories there, connected by an internal roller door.

By the number of kits on order, the area next door will be full as well.

Like you said, it's a good thing and not a bad problem to have.
