In an earlier post Craig called the Wisconsin Democratic Senators "UNION THUGS"
I thought that was strange, as there was no violence.
I remember back in the early 1900s' "thugs" were typically union breakers. Then I Googled the words UNION THUGS and guess what popped up?
FOX, BIETBART, FOX, FOX, BREITBART and something called REDSTATE NEWS.
Craig is spouting the party line!!!! Good puppy!
I then Googles the odd words BLOATED TEACHERS UNION, guess what I find?
FOX, BIETBART, FOX, FOX, BREITBART and something called REDSTATE NEWS.

At first I could not figure out why The Walker guy was only going after the teachers union, (they all said they would take cuts in pay and benifits) if it was really about $ then he should have been happy. Then I could not figure out why did he not go after all the Public unions? Now it becomes clear!
This is all about donations!!!!!! This Ass in Wisconsin is breaking this union because it donates to Democrats!!!!!!!

When the people discover this is all about political donations, they will be very angry!

ya see it has very little to do with state employees but it has everything to do with rolling the employer / taxpayer..

Yes Craig, that is true, and for a very good reason!
As studys have proven, liberals tend to be much better educated and much more informed. Typically they can see through propaganda, so they do not listen/watch.

Let's do the math, shall we ...
61% of those polled are against Walker. That leaves, at most, 39% supporting him (any work on those who said no opinion?).
Now, if 20% of those polled are from union families, and all of them stated they were against Walker, that means we should drop 20% if the vote out. So, to make percentages easy, let's assume 100 pollsters.
Original vote 61 against, 39 for. Remove 20 from the against, and we have 41 vs. 39. Normalize the percentages, and 80/41 is just over 50% are against Walker and NOT union families, while just under 50% are against.
The numbers are still not good ...
And, yes, while it is not about unionization but collective bargaining, the two go hand in hand. And, again, since the PD and FD still have collective bargaining, then there is still a legal argument that all public employees should.

You guys are not factoring in the +/- of 3% in all of these polls. Now even with that the math adds up to be relatively close and with the +/- 3% it could go either way so to say that the people are against him well is just plain a FAR STRETCH since the math proves that the state if anything is split!

The conservative Rasmussen poll shows that Wisconsin Governor Walker's disapproval rating is 57% with only 43% approving.
This poll was taken before the illegal vote to strip the Unions rights, before it became apparent that this is not about the money and before the nationwide boycott.
Once the truth about these illegal actions by the Wisconsin Republicans come out, you can count on the disapproval numbers jumping way up!

A Rasmussen poll out today reveals that almost 60% of likely Wisconsin voters now disapprove of their aggressive governor’s performance, with 48% strongly disapproving.
While these numbers are clearly indicators of a strategy gone horribly wrong, there are some additional findings in the poll that I suspect deserve even greater attention.
It turns out that the state’s public school teachers are very popular with their fellow Badgers. With 77% of those polled holding a high opinion of their educators, it is not particularly surprising that only 32% among households with children in the public school system approve of the governor’s performance. Sixty-seven percent (67%) disapprove, including 54% who strongly disapprove.
Can anyone imagine a politician succeeding with numbers like this among people who have kids?
These numbers should be of great concern not only to Governor Walker but to governors everywhere who were planning to follow down the path of war with state employee unions. You can’t take on the state worker unions without taking on the teachers – and the teachers are more popular than Gov. Walker and his cohorts appear to realize.
