Looking sharp as always. I was really hoping to make it to Carlisle this year, but a major work mess is preventing it.

Scott,

Good seeing you and meeting Steamer Bill at Carlisle. Glad the weather wasn't too bad. I was visiting my mother near Chambersburg (50 miles away) and we got 5 inches of rain Sat night. My bike is still airing out!

All,

Eric (550 Spydr, He has the sweet Essex Wire GTD)) and I, will be taking our '40s to LRP tomorrow to the Memorial Day Weekend show.

Anyone else going to drive their GT40 there?

Veterans Memorial Car Show

I'll be in the grocery store parking lot in Sharon at 0930 hrs, if anyone wants to meet up and park next to each other.

I really have to get a 40 so I can play too. I can park next to you in the VW, but that just wouldn't look right. The Mustang's transmission is scattered across my workbench right now so thats not going anywhere. Guess I'll wait for ALMS to bother you 40 guys. Have fun at the show.

3 piccies of LRP.

Eric and I were the only 2 to show up.

We were mobbed all day long.

It was an amazing day for a drive in the northwest corner of Litchfield.

Scott,

That was a fun car show. I'm glad I went to that one. I liked that back road shortcut to the track. It was also the first time I was able to follow a GT40 and it really was cool watching your car track along ( Glad you missed that big snapping turtle in the road!)

The show was very laid back and fun with no formal judging and you could leave whenever you wanted to. As a bonus, upon entry, we were able to extend our cars around the circuit as the show field was on the far side of the track. Kind of like a parade lap. I will for sure be there again next year.

Thanks for bringing your car down from Mass!

I'm not a snob.

Show up and you can demo 875.

S

Haha, I'm sure you are not. Thanks for the offer and sorry I could not make the show. I usually attend ALMS weekend so it will be nice to check out your car then. No demos for me though.....want my first time to be with a virgin build that kicked my ass for a year or two.

Everyone,

Some pics from a run Scott did with group of great Cobra guy's earlier today through the southern Berkshire mountains.

I especially like the ones taken looking past the Webers.

Cheers,
Andy
