UN1 Rebuild

and finally :

We are finally arrived to the last steps :

Put blue loctite on the 3 bolts that hold the rear locking plate and tight them (50 nm)

Put oil on the primary shaft, then place the big washer, then the ring. ensure the oil holes are aligned (shaft and ring). Continue with oiling and place the needle bearing, then the 5th gear's wheel.

Put some gren loctite on the secondary shaft and place the 5th gear pinion.

Then place the fork on the hub and place the whole on its right position along the primary shaft and around the wheel.

Place the spring in the hub.

Oil the syncro and hub internals and externals and place the syncro.

Put some green loctite and place the final pinion.

We now need to tight the rear bolts of the 2 shafts. Engage 2 gears to lock shafts, for example on my pic 4th and rear.

Then attach a support to the gearbox as to apply the torque to bolts will need the gearbox not to move.

Green loctite and tight bolts with the right torque.

The bolts need to be flattened on their side to avoid possible unscrew.


Then paper seal with loctite liquid for paper seal

Place the rear cover and tight all bolts

Oil the 5th gera hole, place ball, spring. Put some silicon sealant on the bolt and tight it.

Place the plastic washer on the side arm and attach the arm.

If you did it well, it should come as per the last pic....:thumbsup: ready to ride....

PS : On some pics, there seem to be rusted parts, I don't know where it comes from, it only exists on pics and not in reality...strange...Obviously if some of your parts had rust on them, you have to remove it first.
