Error in SPF Wiring Diagram

Hi:

Just a quick note to alert you to an error in the SPF wiring diagram in the Owner's Manual concerning the fuses for the 2nd and 3rd speeds of the HVAC blower fan. The SPF diagram (first page, which shows the fuse/relay box), incorrectly identifies fuses #15 and #16 as the fuses for the fuel pump(s). My car was ordered in 2017, and the page in the manual is #38, copyrighted in 2006. I know there was a "re-call" of sorts concerning the fan wiring awhile back, and the wiring diagram put out by Blas Costagli correctly identifies fuses #s 15 and 16 as pertaining to the 2nd and 3rd fan speeds, respectively. I replaced these fuses yesterday when the speeds on my blower went out, and everything worked. I will let SPF know as well.

Regards,

Thank you Chris. I was quite sure I had it right on my diagrams. Could have been a design change somewhere along the way. I’ll look thru my “oldest” reference material to try and find a change.

Owner's manual?
I didn't get no stinkin' owner's manual!

Seriously, are you talking about an actual owner's manual, or the wiring diagram provided by Blas?

If there is such an animal, I'd sure like a copy for P2389...

Unfortunately, it's hardly an owners manual. SPF builds great cars but their attention to detail in documentation is severely lacking.

I thought so.

I agree. Great cars. Little help after the sale.

Anyone know what the toggle switch near the a/c controls is for?

I don't have a toggle switch there, but my chassis P2226 is from 2007.

Extra switch for I.D. lamps or whatever.

My bad, I didn't read "A/C controls. NOT for lights, that extra switch is on the dash. Fingers typing before brain was in gear.....

If you are referring to the switch between the rotating dials I believe it is for opening the defroster vents when the A/C is on. I am going to be in my car this afternoon and will double check.
