Front Pulley Assembly & Oil Pan for RCR40

In anticipation of my RCR40 coming I'm finishing up a 347 stroker build. Looking for direction on a SBF front pulley assembly that's AC capable, fits and works well in the RCR40.

Can anyone confirm if a front or rear oil pan is a better fitment in the RCR? I've seen both the Canton 15-644 (rear) and 15-630 (front) as recommendations via search of the forum archives, but not model (RCR) specific.

Thanks in advance for any guidance and insight.

I don't have the pulley information readily at hand, but will tell you that there's literally NOTHING under the engine in the RCR so you would be free to fit any sump that has clearance to the road. I used a front sump on mine because I liked the short oil pump intake tube rather than stretching a tube from the front where the oil pump was on my 331 to the rear.

Thanks, very helpful.

Jeff,
I have an Aviad 155-55362 oil pan on my SBF. However, I did have to modify it slightly at the bottom right corner to enable the starter motor to fit in to the bellhousing. May not be an issue depending on which trans/bellhousing you're using.
And, CVF Racing is a good source for your FEAD pulleys & alternator bracket. But, their A/C Brkt mounts the Compressor too high on the engine, so you're probably better off either making your own as others have done, or use the one from RCR like many of have.
HTH, Rod
