I'm in for the griffin no matter what. Just talking to the owner/founder of the griffin gearbox has won be over. The stamp of approval from Fran and the gang is a huge bonus.
You could always go sequential with the griffin transaxle. That's what I plan to do in my car. Already talked to them and have just about everything set in stone. :)
I'm wanting turbos that are capable of about 1500-1800 so I'm not topping them right off the bat. The big HP will be for later when I'm used the the 1100-1200. I was think about twin 76's but don't know enough about them to pick the ones that will work well with my 454.
I've been dealing with the LS cars for almost 10 years now so I have a pretty good grasp on everything and I am on LS1TECH.com on a daily basis in the turbo section trying to decide what turbo's to go with. I'm really wanting to go with the air to water intercooler since the car won't see much...
I've heard of it being done, but have yet to come across anyone's actual set up for reference. This is something that crossed my mind as well. Even thought about going compound boost like the ford Gt guys do
No worries Fran, you are forgiven. :)
Time to start piecing together my turbo system. Is there room for a A2W intercooler without kicking the passenger out?
Just wondering if anyone has or plans to. And if so where do you plan on mounting the turbo/turbos and what size turbo/turbos do you plan on using?
Fran, Is there room to run some mild sized twins? Like twin 76mm's? or maybe a big single 91mm?
