ok, so thread v1.0 got deleted due to spam bot infection :shifty: which is kinda ok, because ive moved on significnalty in develpment since then, and well, its nice to have a fresh start. so, nuts and bolts is: 800-900kg wet weight proper triangulated spaceframe chassis with integrated FIA...

I had a whole thread on the development of my chassis, asking for feedback etc... i updated it last week with the first images of my CAD... ...and now the whole thread is gone?! huh? edit, it appears its totally deleted. ive got a link for it, but get a 404 when attempting to access it...

my experience is a little unrelated to complete kit cars, and more to do with custom parts for conversions in existing models etc, but generally speaking, i find those folk on the budget route tend to want to do everything to a budget, which means what ever engine they can get cheapest, whatever...

short of an issue with incomplete emptying due to internal convolutions of the bladder, i dont see a big problem. as long as there are no significant sharp folds etc that could cause a premature bladder failure due to material stress anyways can you point me to what bladders youve found...

are you planning on tweaking the body to aero advantage, or just interested in seeing how it behaves? cheers ed
