I saw an old post of yours asking about the history of #1076. The car was owned by a collector named David Brown in Tampa FL in the early '70's. (71 -72). He had it stored at a import car dealer in Tampa named Dave Heinz. As a kid I used to ride my bike down there and stare at it through the window.

It's a CAV.
It is the only RH Shift, RH drive CAV as far as I know, Superformance Smith Gauges, motolita steering wheel. Its close to original, but not as close as a Superformance car. I have to say Superfermance makes theeee best GT40 next to a Safir. If only Canada would let them in....... wimper...
