    Upside down radiator

I've looked at these radiators also. There is also another one marketed that it can be welded and is supplied with the outlet/inlet not fitted at all. They look as though they all come from the same Chinese supplier. Would be interested to hear aslo if anyone has experience with these.

Sorry Russ but cant really help with E85. My experience was mainy with two stroke road racing motorbikes (combustion shapes were vastly different) when they changed from leaded to unleaded '98/'99. The change was so radical we used to use earlier model heads. The only reason we wanted to...

Generally the combustion chamber shape is quite different between leaded and unleaded as the flame front speed of unleaded is quite rapid compared to Avgas. :uneasy:

    Adaptor plate woes

What you need is some anchor nuts and the bolt it together in the opposite direction. These are used in aviation and are normally UNF so you may need to change your bolts also.

DRB #46 now on the road

Hi Darrell, Fantastic car, I have DRB #65 and am slowly gathering parts. I am also building a house so unfortunatly the car is a bit slow. I am amazed at your car as itis almost exactly what I have planned for mine. It will probably be Mercury grey with either white or shadowed...

Nice loking muffler Russ, used a similar design on an experimental stroked big block ford in a sprint car a few years back. Amazing how much it quietened it down even though it was such a simple design. Gave a nice bass tone too.

Hi Russ, Fantastic job by yourself and Lim on the fuel caps and handles. If you are taking orders (to help your cost offset) let me know as I would probably be keen on some. Cheers Jimmy M

Hi Russ, MS spec aircraft washers for hard ones or AN series for normal steel and alloy and they come in 0.063, 0.032 and 0.016 thickness. All are closer tolerance than over the counter commercial stuff. PM me if you need to discuss. Jimmy M

    Cav#131

Johan R, Abosutley stunning. I decided a year or so ago that I will paint my DRB in very similar colours after seeing a documentry on the new AC Cobra. As it was rolled out for public viewing for the first time there was a GT in the background with this scheme. I have been looking to see...

    Stewart Warner pumps

Only guessing but I would think the 'pulse chamber' covers the opening and allows air movement when the diaphram moves while regulating pressure. You could probably just put some sort of filter on/in it if you cant get originals. Just an observation, I may be completely out of left...
