You want .005 to .010 on back lash setting, the closer to .005 the better.

Just remove the allens and split the diff in two, It will come right out.

The parts we have made to ZF print are the highest quality you can get,the price reflects it because of the low production.I would like to bring down the cost but we have to work on more volume first.

One more point: we DO sell new ZF's to fit the GT40, Sometimes I will have a used ZF that I did a full rebuild on but time is hard to find for that. Lloyd

I just want to comment on the subject:RBT is a small company, we are tring to build are self up, at the same time we are doing production runs on are RBT 6-speed as well as maufacturing parts for the ZF 5DS25 transaxle that we took over years age. Well there is (4) types of transaxle in the mix...

You do have to flip the pantera box so the input shaft is below the diff, also the diff has to be fliped to the the left side or you will have 5 reverse gears and 1 forward gear. The oil system in side have to be changed to lube all parts in the new direction. Lloyd@ www.rbttrans.com

We have 5,37 4,22 3,7 and 3,2 ring and pinions with .705 .655 .642 6th gears Saleen and Shelby are running 450+hp and torque with no problem.
