FWIW, I just bought a '16 F-150 with a 3.5 twin turbo ecoboost. This was not a performance oriented purchase (at all), but I have been pleasantly surprised at how well this V6 runs. It pulls strong, even in a heavy truck. I can definitely see benefits of this motor in a small light sports car.

Other than cars with a front engine/rear tranny like vets, where does a driveshaft spin anywhere near 7k rpm? And don't those cars have the shaft encased in a tube?

Jimmy, good luck with the install! I just bought a house nearby in High Springs. Do you frequent any local cruise ins or shows? I have heard that High Springs has something going on, but no details. No GT40 for me yet, but I still have my '67 Mustang that is now hapily sitting in a new car...

..Seriously, make sure you get new hardened steel pushrods. The guideplates on your new heads will eat your stock ones in short order.

For some reason, I thought the SL-C windscrean was not glass. I thought I remembered a post saying NOT to use Rain-x on it etc.
