    P1109, horror!!

Howard and Rick.. your points are well taken. And I am glad for any of these cars that can be saved. I would however be surprised if the legality of a "re-body" has anything to do with a cars value. And I think it even differs from state to state here in the US. Now that Dynacorn has been...

    P1109, horror!!

Why is it illegal to do a "vin plate" re-body on a vintage Mustang, and call it "original"? When this seems to be accepted practice with a GT40? Or is this just an international thing? There was a 66 GT350 I saw for sale a few years back, the car had been in a bad wreck in the early 70s...

What is the Differential & Ring/Pinion from?

    Transaxle w/T56 internals?

accept the diff and axles are on the wrong end. I'm sure somebody else will chime in, but I think RCR is using this tranny combo in at least one of their platforms, but without the driveshaft extension tube thing. Isn't there somebody else working on a custom transaxle using Toploader...

    BF Goodrich G-Force Sport Comp-2

I am now on my second set for my 04 Mustang/Cobra. I like them better than the Goodyear Eagles that came on the car.

    SLC at Mecum

I have always found it interesting that the early Shelby Mustangs, assembled (or modified) in a separate off-site, small production format, seem to have a higher perpetual value than the later ('68+) cars that were built right on the line at ford. Even though there were major finishing /quality...

Ford GT gets first GTLM win in Monterey GP

I sat down to dinner today at a local Miller's Ale house and was pleasantly surprised to catch the last 30 minutes of this race. ...What a great looking car! Ford GT gets first GTLM win in Monterey GP, Michael Shank wins overall | FOX Sports

    New Ford GT

FWIW, I just bought a '16 F-150 with a 3.5 twin turbo ecoboost. This was not a performance oriented purchase (at all), but I have been pleasantly surprised at how well this V6 runs. It pulls strong, even in a heavy truck. I can definitely see benefits of this motor in a small light sports car.

    Amazing WWII Aircraft...

Other than cars with a front engine/rear tranny like vets, where does a driveshaft spin anywhere near 7k rpm? And don't those cars have the shaft encased in a tube?

    Custom transaxle

+1 on the Yamabond. This is one of the threads here that keeps me checking in on a regular basis. Man, a transaxle built around a Ford toploader and 9" diff? That's fantastic. This would be a really cool option if it becomes practical for your typical mid-engine project by the time I am...

    016 to 01E

Jimmy, good luck with the install! I just bought a house nearby in High Springs. Do you frequent any local cruise ins or shows? I have heard that High Springs has something going on, but no details. No GT40 for me yet, but I still have my '67 Mustang that is now hapily sitting in a new car...

..Seriously, make sure you get new hardened steel pushrods. The guideplates on your new heads will eat your stock ones in short order.

For some reason, I thought the SL-C windscrean was not glass. I thought I remembered a post saying NOT to use Rain-x on it etc.
