just a little update, i managed to get in the garage this evening for a little bit and decide to strip a little more frame work off. Also i dont know what has happened to the right hand up right near the door hinge, but it had seemed to cut and shut. i have heard about one side being shorter...

Thanks for thats is a steal firewall compulsory or can it be made from aluminium, carbon, etc. Does anybody know what it has to be made from to pass the UK SVA test. cheers Nik

I spoke to the gt40 one and only previous oener earlier and he was telling me that he thinks a escort rack has less turn lock to lock than a cortina one. But size wise the are very close.

I found the reciept out from kva today and it says mk1 shell and type c chassis.

Sorry i thought N1K TD might have been close enough. I think my kva is running an escort rack at the min. But i looks like it has kva's own suspension. The reciept from kva is dated 1988. I will check tomorrow but im sure it says mark 1 type c if that makes sense. Cheers nick
