    Brian Redman Book

One of the most under-rated drivers ever, from an era of spectacular and dangerous cars and circuits, a really nice bloke as well. Should be a great book, he has many great stories to tell. He was (still is) one of my heroes from my school days along with Pedro Rodriguez, Jo Siffert and Vic Elford.

    Oulton Park Gold Cup Timetable

Thanks for posting links Mike. The 1970 Gold Cup was the first motor race I ever attended, cycling there from my then home in Bolton. Classic Car Show, NEC, November

Graham, you have nothing to regret. I believe you made a generous and well intentioned offer to help the club out when it was struggling to find cars to exhibit, the offer even prompted Martin to offer his Southern. The idea of the occasional guest car (particularly one as iconic as a 917)...

    What is this? Lola-Gt40 hybrid?

Compare the door shape with the B8, the B8's are much flatter and do not curve round into the windows as much as your mystery car. The windscreen shape is also wrong, the B8 leading edge is very much bowed forward. All B8 front clips came with recessed headlamp openings. The sills below the door...
