I've got pictures of 1033 and 1036. They both had 8 rows of louvers on the deck plates.

Ours only have 8 rows.

I can't guarantee that ours are exactly like the original cars' but: Rear: All are 4" long. (Gap from the edge to the louver end is constant, center gap tapers.) Top: Outer - 5.2" long. Center - 3" long

At this state in your design, you should select a steering gear that is the correct length to give minimum bump steer. Considering that running hoses and adding a pump can be a big deal, an in-line electric booster (discussed on this board) is probably the simplest path.
