Charlie Whiting died in Melbourne this morning. Age 66 he apparently suffered a heart problem.

Sad loss yesterday. Charlie Lamm, the supremo of BMW motorsport from the mid eighties died on Thursday, 24th January 2019. I worked with him at Le Mans and it was on his say so I was transferred to Audi Motorsport for the next 18 years. A true gentleman and a terrible loss to everyone that knew him.
